Lorain City Schools has been awarded a $252,000 grant from the Ohio Arts Council to provide comprehensive arts instruction for preschoolers at our 10 elementary schools. This funding will support twice-weekly arts instruction by local teaching artists, family-focused arts events, and expanded creative learning opportunities for our youngest students

We provide FREE meals to all K-12 students, regardless of economic status. Additional a la carte options are available.

We value school attendance, and we hope you do, too. Here is the bell schedule for the school year: Buses arrive and doors open at 8:00 AM, the tardy bell and instruction begin at 8:15 AM, and dismissal is at 3:00 PM.
